adventure the show follows. ^_^  Be aware this page has not only fact but OPINIONS too. Ash is the main (And my Favorite) character, so this might take awhile (then again maybe not)...</div> <bR> <div> I guess I'll start at the beginning seeing as how it wouldn't make sense if I started at the end, ^_^  Why must my trainer embarrass me so?</div> <bR> <div> Ash's first Pokemon is Pikachu, which he gets instead of the "Easier to Handle" starter Pokemon 'cause he was late. ^_^  Hey, There's nothing wrong with Pikachus! We're just a little high spirited! Yeah that's for sure. Anyway, His Pikachu isn't to excited about having this inexperienced trainer until our first example of Ash's character (does that make any  sense to you?) .</div> <bR> <div> Pikachu is attacked by a flock of Spearow and badly hurt.  Ash steal a girl's (who ends up being Misty) bike to save Pikachu.  The Spearow eventually catch up with him and attack them.  The bike gets trashed leaving Ash tell Pikachu to get in it's pokeball "'cause it's safer that way".  </div> <bR> <div> Then he told blocked Pikachu and let the Spearows attack him. yelling something' like "Spearow's do you know who I am?  I'm Ash Ketchum of Pallet town and I'll gonna be the world's greatest  Pokemon Master! And I'm gonna capture and defeat you all!"  Then the weakened Pikachu Thundershocked the Spearows and saved Ash.  Us Pikachu are very durable!</div> <bR> <div> So, from that you can tell that Ash really cares about his Pokemon.   Actually, in the beginning Ash is EXTREMELY over confident (i.e. he's a stuck up brat, ^_^).  He does get better over time, fortunately ^_^ But he still says I'll gonna be a Pokemon Master (or something thing like it) EVERY single episode, and it's VERY annoying  ^_^</div> <bR> <div> Luckily, Gary Oak comes around once and a while to flatten Ash's Ego (unfortunate not often enough ^_^)  Sometimes when Ash is REALLY hyper, I wonder if he's TAKING something... If he is, I want some! (JUST KIDDING).  When he wins a battle he's always super happy.  If it's a badge he's SUPER, super happy.  Then he does this little pose/dance thingy.  It's very lame, ^_^  I agree, LAME-O!</div> <bR> <div> See!?! Look at that, it's sooo stupid! ^_^</div> <bR> <div> He usually puts his Pokemon before himself (most of the time, anyway ^_^). More so later on.  Like when he was going to leave Pikachu behind.  It's like saying "You stay here, I can't be a Pokemon Master without you, but you're more important to me"   Which is true, without Pikachu Ash wouldn't have a chance. ^_^   Then, at the Bulbasaur Evolution Festival, he would have liked Bulbasaur to evolve but, it didn't want to so he stood up for it.  So, I guess he does demonstrate SOME level of maturity, even if it's not all the time.   I STILL think he's immature!</div> <bR> <div> Many people thought the way he acted after he lost at pokemon league was immature and unrealistic. ( He whined and moped for a day or so ^^;) I don't think so.  I still think he's a strong character.  Why? Richie didn't whine! That's because Richie is WEIRD.  Honestly, you probably would have done the same.  And he did eventually realize that it was stupid for him to be moping around like that. </div> <bR> <div> The age old question (maybe not AGE old) will Ash become a Pokemon Master? NO!  Well, let's analyze this first.  What, he's caught A whole 9 Pokemon, WOW (great sarcasm) 5 of which he actually uses, 2 he's "set free".  But, it's quality over quantity, right?  He may not catch all 150 (in fact I doubt he'll even catch 20) but, he does have good relationships with he Pokemon ('cept Charizard).   They're all fairly strong, (actually, *I* think Bulbasaur's weak ^_^ ME TOO!) so I'd say he has a fairly good shot at the title. (I hope)</div> <bR> <div> Do you even have a personality in the game?  The game says an outstanding citizen like you would never join Team Rocket, someone stays you look gentle, A girl says your cute, lots o' people say your a good trainer or something like that, and Youngster asks you if you like shorts. (WHY?!? Cause he's ODD)   </div> <bR> <div> In the comic books Ash is similar to the Anime but he's not quite as clueless or determined.  He also has a crush on Gary's sister, May.  But, I've only read the first four and think I should wait until I've read more to jump to any MORE conclusions.  You do that well -_-;;</div> <bR> <div> That's All Folks! *sweatdrops*</div> </tD> </tR> </TABLE></div> <bR> </td> </tr></table></body>
