 Hiya guys!

I've got my very own corner of the web now, and my job is to tell you about the Moondreamers TV show, so here I am!

Moondreamers aired (in North America only) as part of "My Little Ponies and Friends" in 1986. The first half of this 30 minute show was My Little Pony, then the second half was rotated between "The Moondreamers", "The Glo Friends", and "Potato Head Kids", making Moondreamers a fifteen minute show. It was produced by Marvel Productions and Sunbow Productions. There are fifteen episodes.

If you have information on anything you think should be posted here, please tell me, kay?

A little boy accidentaly travels to Monsterous Middle where he must face his fear of horses or he, Bitsy and Blinky will be trapped forever!
You can find all of these episodes (and many other cartoons) at The Toonarific Cartoon Archive

* "The Nightmare" was a two parter and I don't know where it goes. Judging by the style and content it came later in the series and I believe it may have been the final episode. Perhapes it was two parts because it was intented to be the season finale and the next season's premier. It is known that the Moondreamers doll line was intended to go on in 1988, so I think it's likely the cartoon was meant to continue as well.

Videos
There were a few collections of videos available. The most common was produced by Golden Video. These videos have a yellow cover with a screen shot of one of the episodes as the picture. Each Golden tape had three TV episodes and, of course, they went in order. There was also a series of tapes which had five episodes each. Videos were also sold in the UK, even though the series apparently didn't air on TV there. The UK tapes had four or five episodes each and were available in VHS PAL format. The episodes on these tapes did not go in order.

Moondreamers was nominated for two awards at The Ninth Annual Youth in Film Awards (1986 & 1987): Best Animation Voice-Over Group - Elizabeth Frazer ('Bitsy') - Melanie Gaffin ('Ursa Minor') - Robin Kaufman ('Blinky') and Best Animation Series or Special for Family Viewing.
