And true to the Jap. version
Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-oh-ki (The alternate title) is my favorite of the Tenchi series because there aren't so many filler episodes, and there is so much more emotional content, cuteness, comedy, character development, justice to Mihoshi, and plots. Yes, it is the shortest version of the Tenchi story, and yet it has more than one plot. Three have ended, and it seems a fourth concerning Tokimi and/or the king of Jurai, Azusa has just began. All it needs is a third OAV with Kiyone in it, and I'll happily give this anime an A++!
Tenchi Muyo! is about a boy named Tenchi, the girls in love with him, his powers, and beings that risk his life for various reasons. Yeah there's more to it, but I'm lazy. Lesse... Aeka, the Juraian Princess is looking for her long lost brother/bride, and stumbles upon Earth, where she finds Tenchi, who tells her that her brother Yosho died a long time ago. To quote Obi-Wan, "He was dead.... in a certain point of view". We learn more later as much more chaos ensues. As it turns out, Yosho is Tenchi's grandfather, and he kicks major Ass! To find out more about Tenchi Muyo, insert 25 cents now! Or, Check out the other Tenchi-verses.... Tenchi Universe, T. in Tokyo, Pretty Sammy, Magical Project S, the three Tenchi Movies, I hope that's all!
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
