It kicks Macross II's ass!

More action, comedy, and sexuality than Macross II, and none of the song crap. Well, maybe a little.

It's a lot of fun, and quite a bit is laced into the action!

Macross Plus was bought by me, with high expectations. The anime did not disappoint. There was plenty of fun and action, the story was great. Nah.. it was fantastic! Seeing as it is a Macross anime, you can bet that at least 5% of the story revolves around a girl who sings.

We look into some sort of competition between Guld and Isamu, two test pilots for two new ships. One of them is similar to a classic, man piloted valkyrie, and the other is controlled using the pilot's brainwaves. Guld and Isamu compete for some sort of approval of their ships. I'm not sure, it's never really revealed, but it's not of any true importance. They were once friends until some sort of event which occured 7 years ago involving their friend Myung, who, by the way, happens to be on the planet for business reasons. The story revolves around these three characters, and the mysterious computer-generated Sharon Apple, whose existence has no reason in my mind. Many events start to unravel around the three main characters, and like I have said before, there is a lot of fun mixed with it. Believe me, this anime will not fail you, unless you are a very complex anime fan. And by that, I mean you don't like romance, action, comedy, and Macross. In which case, I say, get the hell out of my site. Get out now! Dugtrio, get my shotgun...
