After thinking about it, I realize this doesn't deserve the horrible D- grade.

Censorship:
I'm pretty sure that censorship would have to include the censorship of nudity and blood. Yep.
Man, this movie was good for some part of it, but for the most part, it really sucked. I mean, there's a bunch of vampires, and the Vampire Hunter has to kill the head vampire, and btw, he's a dampile (or however you spell it) which means he's a half-breed of human and vampire. There is violence, nudity, and perverse former humans. It's just like Blade here in the states, but with nudity and perverse former humans. "D" has to protect a single girl (both as in one girl and as in unmarried girl not in relationship) and her brother from being wedded to Count Lee. Yeah.. that's pretty much the plot, that and vampires and monsters trying to kill "D". There are a whole bunch of mutants in this anime. I'd say there are a few pints of blood. Umm... animation quality is poor even for the time it was produced.. wait is that fair? Hmm.... I'll have to look into that. Any time before 1990 and I'm right. *update* Heh... I meant to say any time AFTER 1980. Silly me.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
