Here?
I bought this movie with high expectations, especially since I loved Tenchi Muyo! and had the money to buy the DVD. This movie did not fail! I was shocked, though, that I wouldn't be listening to the OAV or Universe music that I have grown accustomed to, but the music used here fits better! The dub lines are 96% the same as the subtitles, they don't suck, the voices are the same as in Universe, except maybe Noboyuki, I'm not sure, since Noboyuki didn't say a damn thing in the movie. Present-say Noboyuki that is. This has time-travel in it, and obviously, there has to be some Back to the Future inside jokes. One of them is the clothes Tenchi wears, and another is the fact that Tenchi faces a possible disappearance from existence in the present. So, Tenchi has to travel into the past to prevent his Mother's death at the hands of KAIN, a being consisting of an anti-Jurai composition. What will happen? Who will kill who? Will Ryo-Ohki transform into a spaceship? The answers may (not) surprise you!
That's My Story and I'm Sticking to it!
