Game Reviews
Last Updated 1/2/2004
Expect nothing of video game magazine calibur. As you know, all my reviews are smart and emotional, as well as at a level most people understand. Starting things off is Squaresoft's instant classic, Chrono Trigger.
.hack//infection A look at the single-player RPG that gives the feel of a MMORPG
.hack//mutation A look at part two of the single-player RPG that gives the feel of a MMORPG
.hack//outbreak A look at part three of the single-player RPG that gives the feel of a MMORPG
Chrono Trigger A look at a Time-Traveling RPG known throughout the gaming world as "good."
Final Fantasy IV A look at an old classic with simple design, but great system, story, and memorable characters.
Final Fantasy VII A look at Square's official end of deals with Nintendo. Can you say "you're not good enough for our text!"
Final Fantasy IX A look at Square's return to old school, still, still not returning to Nintendo.
Final Fantasy X A look at Square's total makeover of the old battle system and embarassing-yet-still-good voice acting.
Gundam Wing: Endless Battle A look at why unoriginal fighting games suck.
Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete A look at an old-school RPG and all the cool stuff it comes with. I feel so dirty just saying "old-school."
Mega Man X4 A look at Capcom's fourth MMX game, which implements anime cutscenes into a MegaMan game.
Mega Man X5 A look at Capcom's fifth MMX game, which killed Zero for the second time. Thus, Zero isn't as kickassedly as he was.
Mega Man X6 A look at Capcom's sixth MMX game, which was both a horrible rush job and a blessing. I feel torn.
Pokemon A look at Nintendo and Game Freak's and Creature's addictive soulsucker.
Pokemon GS A look at N, GF's, and C's sequel to Pokemon, with well over twice the game play time.
Pokemon RS A look at the Advanced Pokemon, now with even more to do... I feel scared.
Sailor Moon Another Story A look at the absolute best game based on an anime EVER!
Tenchi Muyo! RPG A look at Banpresto's Japan-only Tenchi RPG, which has a great battle system and a cool new character.
