Development: 8</B></div> <div> This thing actually gets you interested in the characters and you see how well they develop moments before their death.</div> <bR> <div> <B>Sexuality: 5</B></div> <div> There's nudity.  Plenty of.  Well, not plenty, but more than what is needed, if such a thing is possible.</div> <bR> <div> <B>Romance: 5</B></div> <div> Yep, there is romance.  But that is not the focus of the story (yes!).</div> <bR> <div> <B>Drama: 6</B></div> <div> Yep, there is some drama.  Okay, plenty.  In fact, by the third episode, you actually feel sorry for the bad guys.</div> <bR> <div> <B>Action: 7</B></div> <div> Mech action! Dragon?  Wait, is it dragon?  Well, I'm sure the Hakkeshu part is correct, right?  Anyway, I haven't heard of this anime before, and I think it's a shame.  This is actually a very great anime despite the fact that it's an anime and has some of the mech clichés such as the boy forced to pilot.  But that doesn't mean a damn thing to me!  In fact, this has one kickass plot.  Would you believe a supercool plot?  How about above average?  Yep, that'll do.  Great mech designs, like I said, and it actually makes you feel sorry for the Hakkeshu guys and gals.  </div> <bR> <div> Here's the quick summary: 14(?)-year-old boy Masato Akikitsu is forced to pilot the invincible mech, Zeorymer of the Heavens, which was stolen from the Hakkeshu group.  But this isn't any normal mech; it requires two people to pilot.  Masato's partner is a girl that is kinda hard to understand.  All I know is that there's something synthetic about her.  Hmm... I'm gonna have to look into which came first: this, or NGE.  Anyway, the Hakkeshu still have mechs of their own and send them out to defeat Zeorymer, but Masato has some kind of genetic programming within him, and he manages to use Zeorymer's impressive weapons to destroy all who oppose.  How he does it he doesn't know, but it all comes together within four episodes and you understand all.  In fact, it all comes together quite dramatically, and you find out that you really are supposed to feel sorry for the Hakkeshu.  It all comes down to a dramatic finish, but I don't think I quite understood what really happened.  I probably would have figured it out, but I only watched it once, and that was good enough for me.  Seriously.  No, I would have figured it out... stop laughing!  I'll make up for it by figuring out Evangelion.  It doesn't look confusing at all to me...</div> <bR> <div> <I>That's my Story and I'm Sticking to it!</I></div> </td> </tr></table></body>
