Ninja Scroll
Episodes Reviewed: Movie, dubbed.

Overall Grade: A
The best of this type.  Not the best movie ever like some fools on the 'net said.

Storyline: 9
Jubei, a mercenary ninja, is forced to fight 8 demons after a form of blackmailing by an old man forced him to agree whatever the old man says.

Type: Action
GGG... er... g... action.

Ch. Development: N/A
Not like there isn't any.  There's ch. d. a-plenty!!

Sexuality: 7
Nudity and rape scenes. Nothing else to say, other than there are almost 5 scenes of nudity and two scenes of rape.

Romance: 6
At first subtle, then it becomes obvious, then it turns into the dramatic last breath speech.

Drama: 10
Plenty of drama.  There's drama in the classic sense, and there's the kickassedness, therefore... when ya put 'em together, ya get a perfect 10!

Action: 8
Gallons of blood!  Yes!  It's been killing me!  Oh.  I just died.  Twice.

Comedy: 2
But there are still some funny scenes.

Dub
Dub Voices: 9
Coulda been better.

Dub Music: N/A
That's the way, uh-huh uh-huh, I like it, uh-huh uh-huh.

Dub Lines: 9
Some improvement is possible.  Not like it isn't great the way it is.

Censorship:N/A
But I could be wrong!

Everywhere I went, it was always "Ninja Scroll rocks! Ninja Scroll is the best damn anime movie out there!"  Although I was disappointed, I must agree that it's the best of its genre.

Packed with action and kickassedness, it also carries the three evils of entertainment: Violence, Language, and Sexuality.  Therefore, I'd have to say that Ninja Scroll should be 16+, but that never stopped me.  Come to this amazing ninja slicefest for more than slicing.  As you might guess, there are various special ninja techniques and special abilities.  And, much like Yotoden: Wrath of the Ninja, there are several main baddies that the three main characters must kill.  Well, on to the synopsys, eh?

Jubei, ninja mercenary, is caught up in a situation that could get him killed, but not getting into it also means death.  Having been poisoned by an old man, Jubei must do whatever he says to get the antidote he needs.  Meanwhile, Kigero (I know her name, I'm just not sure if that's how you spell it) is a member of the Koga ninja clan who must seek out the demons who killed their warriors, and though she is an above average warrior, she is also a poison tester, meaning that she is immune to poison, but anyone who even kisses her dies, but not quick enough to stop them from enjoying themselves.  When Jubei, the old man, and Kigero meet up, it makes for some interesting scenes and battles as the eight demon warriors seek out our heroes and try to kill him.  Eventually, a sensical plot appears and things start to heat up with some of the best battles I've ever seen.  Worth a rent, but don't buy unless you've seen it.

That's my Story and I'm Sticking to it!
