Ranma 1/2 (Manga)
Mangas Reviewed: Graphic Novels 1-20
Overall Grade: PTS
Hey, what do you expect from what I consider the greatest anime of all time?
Type: Comedy/Action
More Comedy than Action, and the action is comedy, whereas the comedy is comedy, and drama is tucked away, sleeping somewhere.
Storyline: A
Technically, there isn't one, but rather, one, ending, then starting another, etc.
Ch. Development: 9
Slowly but surely, we learn more about the characters, then we stop doing that crap and start watching how they develop. Eventually we stop doing that crap as well and the insanity ensues at a much larger ratio. At least that's what I guess will happen.
Sexuality: 6
You know the drill; nudity, and sexual innuendo, but not everywhere, and not even once every issue, or not even once every 3 issues.
Romance: 7
You know, it's the kind that is, um, what's the word... ambiguous. Well, since I swore this, I guess I have to explain the word ambiguous. It means something like not knowing. Like, they are in love, but they don't know it, something like that.
Drama: 8
Well, not much on serious drama, but high score for what I call, KICKASSEDNESS!!!
Action: 5
Normal fighting, not much, if any, blood.
Comedy: 12
That's right... a 12. I guarantee that some of these will have you laughing so hard you'll get a bunch of strange looks from people around.
Listen, this will be swift and painless. If you haven't read Ranma 1/2, do yourself a favor, and read the GREATEST PIECE OF LITERATURE OF ALL TIME!!! Well, not literature, but let's just say so. Motto below.
Of course, if you're more on the serious type, then read this for a change of pace. You'll need it. Everyone needs balance.
Call it a comic one more time and we know what's for dinner!
