Sailor Moon Super S Movie
Episodes Reviewed: DVD
Overall Grade: C
It's an okay movie. Pretty lame, but not gawd-awful.
Storyline: 5
*YAWN* Well, the movie starts out when children are lead out of their homes by a pied piper-type person with a flute. Apparently, an evil sorceress or something named Bediyanu needs the power of the children's dream power for something. As you might guess, I didn't really get into this movie.
Type: Action/Comedy
Ch. Development:N/A
Sexuality: 2
I guess just the normal fanservice. Oh, and apparently it's okay to see "Rini" (that's Chibi-Usa to those who don't get why I said "Rini") naked but not anyone else. Strange.
Romance: 3
Just as much romance as any one episode.
Drama: 5
About as much drama as the last 3 episodes of any series.
Action: 5
Normal powers and such.
Comedy: 6
Plenty of comedy. Well, not that much, but more than R movie.
Dub
Dub Voices: 4
Sucks. That's all.
Dub Music: 4
Sucks. That's all.
Dub Lines: 4
Sucks. That's all.
Censorship:
Sense was cut. Lots of sensible stuff.
Why should you watch this? Well, there's normal SM action and style, as well as the outer soldiers, Uranus Neptune and Pluto. Although, shouldn't Jupiter be an outer as well? I mean, Jupiter is an outer planet. But that's beside the point. The point is, you ought to watch it even if just to see your favorite SM qualities. However, you don't have to watch it, and likely you ought not to if you want a sensical smart movie. I mean, come on, Rini falls in love too often now, and we have to deal with "dream power." Worth a rent, though, so long as it's subtitled. Then you don't have to hear "dream power."
That's my Story and I'm Sticking to it!
