Pokemon the Movie DVD

This DVD SUCKED!!! Okay not that much if you are an uneducated Pokemon fan. This thing features a trailer of the Pokemon the Movie 2000 (what a lame title), plus the Story of Mewtwo's Origin clip (I didn't think they actually would put this in!!). That made me happy. What didn't make me happy was the fact that there were English and French subtitles but no other audio tracks!! (First off, brace yourself, Second off, ) WHYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!! Actually, there is one other audio track: the English Director Michael Haigney and Producer Norman J. Grossfeld's audio commentary on what they tried to do in the movie. Oh my Gawd it sounded as if they had actually created the movie rather than changing it from the Japanese version!! I don't think that ONCE not even ONCE they mentioned the Japanese version. Maybe once, and that was a translation thing; they talked about what to do about translating Misty's voice properly since she had two "lip flaps" for something that translated to apparently more than two syllables. Hey, if you notice, the guys who translated Ranma 1/2 didn't take lip flaps into that much consideration! There's also the English Theatrical Trailer (no, no Japanese Theatrical Trailer!!! WHYYYY!!) and to make matters worse: Music Video from M2M's Don't Say You Love Me, which has NOTHING to do with Pokemon. Not a single thing. I now have to live with watching the dramatic battles between the Pokemon and Clone Pokemon and hearing Brother my Brother. I loved how it was done originally: music from the TV series, dramatic music, no explanation needed for the Pokemon fighting without powers (I just remembered something that the Commentary mentioned now; in the original version, it was probably understood that the Pokemon's pride caused them to want to fight each other using only strength and physical abilities rather than using their special abilities such as elemental attacks, but the two guys admitted to adding something for Mewtwo to say which went something like this: "I have blocked the Pokemon's special abilities using my Psychic power!" which started a little inconsinstincy which those guys admitted to again as Pikachu's clone clearly could use his electric attacks. Longest Product Review so far... I guess I'm just really REALLY pissed off. Oh yeah, there are more extras if you have a DVD drive on your computer, but I don't have one so I can't tell ya what they are.
