Hamtaro

It's fun to watch, but incredibly slim on storyline.

A girl moves into a new town with her hamster, and as she makes friends and experiences new things, so does her hamster Hamtaro. At least it's better than all Nicktoons.

Exactly what you'd expect.
Dub Music: 4
Catchy rhythm, but the lyrics just don't make sense most of the time.
Dub Lines: 2
Most of the time okay, but sometimes it's just too darn embarassing to bear.
Censorship: I won't even bother
Hamtaro exists for few reasons. Number one: people like cute. Number two: there has so far never been an anime that revolves around the adventures of hamsters before. Number three: Cartoon Network needs a good example of an anime that is 100% intended for children. Not that any of these are bad things. I like Hamtaro. I respect it because it's.... so unbearably cyuuuute!!! Gawd I love it! Ah, but for storyline, well, it's pretty much nonexistent. I do know this, though: there have been at least three Hamtaro games made in Japan, and I hope they come stateside, because otherwise it's existence here would be for nothing. Having a couple of ham-hams in the next Smash Bros. game wouldn't hurt either (yep, made by Nintendo!).
Still, I don't know if this anime is such a good idea. I'm not sure if there can actually be a true ending to this anime that truly ends things. Maybe the games will be better.
That's my Story and I'm Sticking to it!
