Storyline:

In the year 2040, humans have gained a new area of prosperity thanks to Boomers, robots with the ability to accomplish tasks ranging from simple clean-up duties to supervising office workers.  Who knows, maybe they could even do telemarketing.  But every once in a while, a Boomer goes berserk, and it's up to the AD Police to stop them.  Of course, what do they know about putting down a berserk Boomer?  It's really up to the mercenary unit Knight Sabers to get rid of them.  But the media doesn't cover berserk Boomers or the Knight Sabers, so the public doesn't know of their existence... but a series of events will make them known... and the status of human existence is about to change again.
Type:
Action
Ch. Development:
9
Unlike the original Bubblegum Crisis, this version is heavy on charater development, AND it has enough action to satisfy the others.
Sexuality:
6
There's some normal fanservice, some skin, and, yeah, even some nudity near the end.  Plus some other stuff I don't want to get into.
Romance:
6
There are a total of three potential couples by the end of the series.  May be shocking to fans of the original.
Drama:
6
How many times have I made the unholy sign of the beast like this?  Oh well.  There's plenty of action drama, character drama, and, yes, even highly entertaining suspense!  This series has got it all... I think.
Action:
7
Plenty of Boomer fighting whether you want it or not.  And don't think it gets stale, 'cause it doesn't!
Comedy:

There are some pretty funny scenes here, but you'll find that the majority of them DO NOT come from Mackey, Leon, or Daley.

Ooookaaaayyyy....  First of all, forget everything you know about the original Bubblegum Crisis.  I know it's good, but do yourself a favor and forget for now.  The series starts off with Linna getting a new job in Tokyo.  She has a horrible first day, but at the end she has a chance meeting with her idols, the Knight Sabers.  You over there, I saw you recoil!  You didn't forget, did you?  After the first few episodes of her trying to get into the Knight Sabers, there are a few fights with berserk Boomers and we see each of the characters slowly develop.  The leader of the Knight Sabers is Sylia Stingray, and her motives for forming the Knight Sabers are unknown.  Priss and Nene have been with her for quite some time.  Priss is a singer at the club Hot Legs, is a motorcyclist, and is the most powerful of the Knight Sabers.  Nene works at the AD Police, and her technical skills (*cough* hacking *cough*) make her an invaluable member of the Knight Sabers.  Linna is the newcomer, but she quickly improves and is almost as good as Priss.

Enough of the Knight Sabers, let's get to the AD Police!  Yeah... well, their job includes putting down berserk Boomers, but under pressure from company Genom, they do not report such incidents officially.  They never get a chance to get the job done because the Knight Sabers destroy the berserk Boomers first.  The one most annoyed by this is Leon, the tough, full-of-himself badass Captain.  You!  I saw you throw up!  Pull yourself together!  *ahem*  And with him as always is the cool and collected Daley... quit groaning and let me finish!

Well, that's the overview.  I feel it's better that we keep Genom a secret.  As a series, this anime is great.  The pacing is perfect, especially in the first half.  The action never gets stale, as plot elements slowly reveal themselves.  I remember, there was a series of shocking events that happened, and I thought I was watching the 20th episode, when it was really just the eighth!  After the sixth episode, every episode afterward leaves you wanting more!  It'll drive you mad!  You must watch the next episode!  And the best part is, just when you think you've seen it all... ZOMBIE BOOMERS!!!!!

Now, you may be wondering, why don't I give this anime an A+?  Well, there are a couple of flaws.  For instance, the ending is a major letdown.  Also, the ending sequence is something I make sure to skip every single time.  And finally Yami: May I butt in? Uh... n Yami: yeah, sure I can.  WHAT THE HELL?  Is THAT thing supposed to be Leon?  Sure, he's "cooler,"  but what happened to the original?  Did they just decide his attitude be completely replaced and add twenty years to him?  Hikari: Um... he's about the same age. Yami: Who asked you?  And another thing...When did Sylia become a schizo?  Huh?  What's the deal with the butler?  And if you have a butler, where's the Batcave... wait a minute... there actually IS an equivalent to the Batcave!  What the ****!  And Mackey!  What the hell happened to the tech expert and pervert we all used to know and love?  Now he's a ****** introvert like Shinji!  And Daley!  Why can't I tell that he's gay?!  Why?  Where is Largo?  Where?  Blood... pressure... too... high...  *collapse* .... ... ... Okay.  But all of what he says, although true, are all minor setbacks.

That's my Story and I'm Sticking to it!
