Sailor Moon

Episodes Reviewed: All dubbed

Overall Grade:A
Sailor Moon is a good, fun anime and it is really interesting.

Storyline: 7
Now, who wouldn't love five women in sailor outfits with short skirts fighting for us? Calm, Zidane, calm.

Type: Action/Comedy
I said what I said.

Ch. Development: 10
I'd say it's over 30 eps., whihc is more than enough time.

Sexuality: 5
Short skirts, long legs, do math.

Romance: 7
It's the basis of the show in the second half.

Drama: 7
So much in the final episodes, but you American Otaku are missin' out.  Unless, of course you watched the original version.  I have no secrets: I haven't watched the original either.

Action: 6
No real violence for 80% of the series.

Comedy:9
Full of fun and funniness allthroughout.

Dub
Dub Voices:
Eh... passable

Dub Music:
Horrible and repetitive

Dub Lines:
Average

Censorship:
They cut out the cool stuff and violent stuff, and edited some lines (art, not speech) that were "too detailed" or something like that.

Well, Sailor Moon was a pretty good anime when I first watched it.  The only thing I hated was my cousin teasing me for watching it.  There's nothing much wrong with it, there are some violence, none of it too violent until you get to the second-to-final episode, and even then it's not really violent.  You should expect some fanservice, since, well, these are superhero-type girs in short, short skirts!  Either that, or their legs make it seem like their skirts are short, but... (cough) moving along... there's also a romance plot if you like that sort of thing and a background plot near the end that makes sense of some lingering questions you had at the beginning.  However, this is the anime (to my knowledge) that started the monster-of-the-day tactic used in several animes in which each episode has a different plot and near the end you get to see a fight with a different monster, while the main plot progresses slowly but surely.

So! Sailor Moon is about a teenage girl who recieves the power to transform into Sailor Moon in order to fend off the advancing forces of the Dark Kingdom and to find the Moon Princess who was reincarnated on earth.  You like that?  There's more stuff as the plot progresses that makes this cooler, so you're in for quite a treat!

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
