Her father was Mithran R. Ter'ell. Her mother was a Kaeran traveler passing through who happened to catch Mithran's eye. Kiya only knows her mother's first name, Rei because she asked a trusted servant once. After Kiya was born, Rei supposedly left in the night, unwilling to stay. But that same servant met Kiya's mother and says she can't believe any mom, especially Rei, would just leave her child behind.</div> <bR> <div> Kiya has two brothers: Arel Ter'ell who took over their father's land after Mithran's death and kicked her other brother, Nurrin (who had always been Mithran's preferred child), out of the estates in jealousy. Nurrin was her favorite of her two brothers, although she still didn't speak much to him. She was always a bookworm, but after Nurrin left, she stayed in her room for the most part of every day, reading books or dreaming about being a Caller. When she was in her late teens, early 20's and still doing nothing of import, Arel had a Caller from the Towers of Jadri come to their House and test Kiya out. He hoped she would have at least a little magical education so she could come back and be his advisor-he disliked having to spend money on anyone and Kiya he knew he could boss around.</div> <bR> <div> With the talent found in her, Kiya was immediately shipped off to Kaer, the homeland of her mother. She studied hard and, at the age of 32, was elected Maeghlin of the Towers of Jadri and Kaer. Not wanting anyone to associate her with her brother Arel and his cruelty to all "commoners", she changed her last name to Felisse. Obviously, she was too powerful to want to return to her brother Arel and being his advisor.</div> <bR> <div> Kiya still felt somewhat lonely until one day she found out that her long-lost oldest brother, Nurrin, was in Kaer and was head of House Ter'ell. She began reminiscing with him, and it wasn't long before she became his advisor, simply to be around a brother she used to love so much. He had turned into an almost bitter man by then, and she pitied him. Apparently, Nurrin had had some hard times in his life-something Kiya knew next to nothing about; all her life her nose had been in a book.</div> <bR> <div> Because of her reassociation with a different House Ter'ell, and wanting very much for everything to be as it was before, she changed her last name once more to Felisse en Ter'ell. She now resides as the Maeghlin and advisor to Lord Nurrin of House Ter'ell... and breaker between her brother and many Callers. Lord Nurrin acts very pompous whenever he is around the Towers of Jadri, taking on a somewhat lessened imitation his brother's and father's brute arrogance. There is especial friction between the Telaeran Valen and her brother, so she makes it a point to be around whenever the two are by each other. Maintaining a usual calmness, Kiya continues to practically live in the library of the Towers of Jadri, learning as much as she can fit into her head. </div> <bR> <div> Currently, she is still getting used to being Maeghlin, and she can still hardly believe she was elected. She visits a lot with many of her Brother and Sister Callers, and is working on increasing the level of skill she already holds. She is still searching for an advisor, unable to choose the perfect person after the Caller she was considering became the Telaeran's Advisor instead. </div> <bR> <div> But with a smile on her face and a joke on her tongue, Maeghlin Kiya Felisse en Ter'ell still has only one goal on her mind, one she's held in secret since she was born the only daughter of a powerful House: to please everyone around her.</div> <bR> <div> (She died at the age of 49)</div> <bR> <bR> </td> </tr></table></body>
