What's Cookin' On Mannon
Approaching Floods Put People On The Move
With the upcoming flooding which will follow the Great Eclipse, the people of Mannon have begun their move to higher grounds. Some of the usual safe high grounds that have been used by villages in the area for centuries have already filled to capacity leaving many without sheltar and in fear of their lives. Several caravans have been forced to move on in the hopes of finding another place to camp, but with so little time left before the tidal waves hit, it is likely that this season will see many lives lost.
Caravans have been disappearing along the roads leading to Solace, and many suspect that these people have been captured to be used as potential sacrifices and/or slaves for the Demon's Celebrations.
May we all pray that these souls find peace in either this life, or the next.

The Uniting of the Twin Keeps
The two rival hilltop Keeps in the Eastern Region of the continent of Ligos have been united after centuries of feuding. A marriage between Lord Gerom Fulstone and Lady Sobotka Tirren built a bridge between the two families, and the collaboration has brought both lands to peace. During the union, attempts were made by some of the demons in the area, to take over both hilltop enclaves by kidnapping the young Lady Sobotka and her father. A group of adventurers who happened to be in the area managed to free Lord and Lady Tirren, and drive out and destroy the assailants. The wedding took place immediately upon the liberation of the Keeps, and all are celebrating an end of the feuding.
There still remains a great deal of concern regarding the demon threat, that they may yet try to again to lay claim to the Keeps. Lord's Tirren and Fulstone are massing a combined army to protect their lands against any future attempts to occupy the area by the demons of Ligos.

The Lost City of Temple
The disappearance of the great city of Temple, has recently become a concern of the Druidical Nation. They are now trying to discern the exact location of the city despite the general consensus that it is a myth.
Reports from people living in the Nation's region say that many Druids have been charged with researching information about the stories surrounding the disappearance and/or myth. The Seer's Guild, too, has been doing their part to aid any way they can, however, as they have been unable to scry for information on the city, finding nothing but myths, there has been no progress save for what the stories say.
The reasons behind the Druidical Nation's interest in the lost city is unknown, but it is said they are seeking adventurers to aid them in their research.

Manta Sightings
The mysterious race known as the Manta have been sighted near Fulston and Tirren Keeps. Sightings over the port city of Solace have also been reported. The Manta seem to be travelling to and fro from their lair which has not yet been discovered, carrying what appears to be supplies, though it seems doubtful.
Town Guard in Solace and in the great Keeps has been doubled to better protect their citizens, and it is advised to report any sightings to the Mayor of Solace as he is tracking their activities.

Succubi & Inccubi Slain
Over 50 Succubi and Inccubi have been slain in the port town of Solace. Reports from town guardsmen on the crime scenes say that some rogue holy avenger is to blame for the senseless slaughter. Traces of Holy Water were found in the food and wine of one establishment where several bodies were found decapitated and dismembered.
All priests, priestesses, and paladins, within the Solace area, have been ordered to submit themselves to the Tribunal for questioning in an attempt to find the culprit. It is believed that he or she is still hiding somewhere within the town and a reward has been posted of 1000 gold pieces for anyone who can bring the criminal to justice.

Slaves Stolen
3 dozen slaves have disappeared from Solace. The Slavers Guild claims that one of their most valued members, the Lord Balor Grund, was killed and his decapitated head deposited on the steps of the Mayor Paul Denier's home. The slaves in his possession have been claimed by the Guild and their sale will go to aid in the investigation of this terrible crime.
The missing slaves have disappeared without a trace, and it is believed that possibly this crime is connected to the Succubi and Inccubi slayings. Anyone with information regarding the missing slaves may report what they know to the Slaver's Guild for reward should the tip lead to the proper punishment of the criminal responsible.

Solar Eclipse
In honor of the upcoming solar eclipse, several prospective sacrifices have been chosen and gathered together in a safe place to await the honor of their deaths. During the week long celebration, 5 sacrifices will be made per day and their blood given to the brewers for the making of Eclipse Wine.
The port town of Solace will be hosting this event for the first time in 280 years having lost the privilege last Eclipse to the city of Stamzin.
The gates to the city will remain open all day every day during the celebration.
