FedEx field is the home of the Washington Redskins football team, Super Bowl champions in 1982, 1987 and 1991. When the stadium was built in 1997, the team moved here from RFK to the disappointment of their fans who had been watching them at the old stadium for years. However, the loyal Skins fans followed and found that the stadium is more than equipped to accommodate their needs. There is seating for 80,116 people with prices ranging from $40 and up for tickets. Wide seats, two enormous video screens for replays and announcements, four scoreboards, and food from around the world are meant to cater to all the viewers' needs.
Restaurants are built on each end zone, and from these, one will find an open and spectacular view of the field. Within the main section of the stadium there is a choice of Italian, Greek, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, German and American foods, providing a vast selection.

In addition, football fans will find a Hall of Fame within the stadium that showcases the history of the club since it moved from Boston in 1937. Also, within this area, facts, figures and mementos are displayed from great Redskin players of the past. The location of the stadium is not far from downtown. It has plenty of on- site parking and is only 10 miles from the nearest airport.
