Home of the NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers and MLS's Tampa Bay Mutiny, Raymond James has everything you ever wanted in a stadium. You're never out of sight of a closed-circuit TV of the action, and you're never more than a few steps from concessions. And if you're willing to pay extra, you've got the most luxurious club seating anywhere, with air conditioning and restaurant- quality dining.
There's not a bad cushioned seat in the place, unless you dislike being next to the million-dollar pirate ship that shoots a cannon every touchdown.
The Malcolm Glazer family owns the stadium, but it was built with money from a barely passed sales tax, which still causes comment in town. Outdoor concerts have been rare, but occasionally occur, as do other stadium-sized events like tractor pulls and equestrian competitions.
