Women's Self-Defence
The workshops and courses for the Women's Self-Defence are run entirely by our female instructors. The structure of the course has been designed, tried and tested by the girls for its simplicity and effectiveness.
The workshops and courses are designed to express to participants that they DO have the ability to defend themselves and their loved ones from most if not all violent situations.
If you would like to participate in a workshop, alternatively, if you would like to organise a workshop or course, for friends, family or colleagues we require a minimum of 10 participants.
Costs are kept to the minimum, the maximum per head for a one and a half hour workshop is $5.00.

Lesley says of Self-Defence.
In our society it is very important to be able to defend yourself. Overpopulation, poverty, unemployment and other factors have caused our society to degenerate. Learning self defence will not guarantee your safety, but it will teach you that you are not defenceless, it gives you the ability and knowledge in case of an attack.
Learning how to defend yourself will not only help YOU in an emergency. Your children may be the victim. Wouldn't you then try to do anything in your power to help them? Self defence doesn't take much, most offenders don't expect retaliation from their intended victims and the knowledge you gain can save the day.
Self defence is not just taking precautions in case of...; it will boost your self-esteem and self-confidence. You will discover your strengths and realise that you are more powerful then you ever realised. The positive self-image you develop will reflect on others, therefore decreasing your chances of being attacked in the first place, as offenders choose their victims carefully, in other words those who look least able to put up a fight or struggle.
Being part of the self defence group will give you the opportunity to share experiences with others. The most common assault scenarios can be discussed and anylised and therefore be avoided, or develop ways and means of getting out of the situation.
We will also discuss the legal aspects of self-defence, just exactly what you are entitled to do and what the law says about "Self-Defence"
