Ever think back
and miss
those innocent days
when running in
the rain
was part of our
childish ways
When twirling in
the air
or building castles
in the sand
was considered by
many
to be just grand
When playing around
with friends in the park
was always accompanied
by your best friend's bark
When dad was your hero
and mom handed out kisses,
hugged you for hours
and made true all your wishes.
