There are so many occassions
where I am somehow delayed
at first an irritant
I know I'll be late
Then passing by an accident scene
and realizing two minutes in time
is all it would take
to make that occurrance mine
Tingling, gooseflesh, a sigh...
all this to relieve the tension
followed by a prayer of thanks
for divine intervention
A guiding force of protection
steering me clear of harm's way
my guardian angel saved me
from a terrible fate today.
