I close my eyes
to say a prayer
and immediately
feel Your'e there

I ask for Your protection
love and forgiveness
and suddenly the warmth
leaves me breathless

I look at the bright morning
and feel the breeze
knowing that You're there
fills me with ease

I smile at the wonder of the tiny ants
and busy bees,
the flowers
and the trees

I gaze upon the first bloom
of a precious flower
feel the drops
of an afternoon's rain shower

I hear the fluttering of the birds
gathering food without rest
feeding the baby birds
in their nest

My Lord God in whom I trust
make all these things so true
your presence overwhelming
I know it's YOU
