No Small Feat

Never again will I waddle
like a duck stepping
out of a puddle

Never again will I crave
the things that can send me
to an early grave

Never again will I find
sweets, cakes & cookies
inflating my behind

Never again will I taste
unhealthy feasts clinging
to my body in haste

Never again will I consume
excess that ends up
in an obnoxious fume

Never again will I see
the silhouette of a stranger
staring back at me

Never again will I feel inferior
convinced everyone in the room
is staring at my rear

Never again will I be ashamed
when people judge my eating
as if I have no restraint
