Sweet dreams, please Lord
tonight I pray
let light and pleasant thoughts
sweep the dark away

An end to all
the cold and pain
replace these
with a sweet refrain

Then with sweet gentle whispers
awake will I
and float gently back down
to earth from heavenly sky.
