The Adventurer's particular appeal comes from its blend of authentic Triumph styling cues of the 1950s and 1960s combined with the American-style cruiser look, making it unique in today's motorcycle market. The engine's silver finish with range of chrome-plated side covers is an immediate focus of attention, while the Adventurer's narrow profile lends it a lean, muscular look which is backed up by the huge reserves of torque produced by the charismatic three-cylinder power unit. The visual appeal of the Adventurer can be further enhanced by the wide range of aftermarket Triumph accessories, allowing each Adventurer owner to personalise his or her machine.
The Adventurer is designed to attract attention as a high profile cruising machine and reflect the individuality of its owner, but is nevertheless a thoroughly credible road-going motorcycle. As well as looking good, the engine is powerful enough to exhilarate, while the high tensile steel frame ensures the bike remains stable and confident handling even when the engine's considerable performance is being exploited. After the successful and comprehensive revisions to the 1999 model, Triumph has made no further changes for 2000, apart from a new, classic colour scheme of Jet Black with Lucifer Orange infill 'eyebrows' above and below the tank badge.
A restriction kit is available which complies with European Union Category A Licence regulations (34PS, 33bhp).
