The Irish in Savannah!

One of the first bands to ever march in an American St. Patrick's day parade and also be back in time to take part in our own Dublin parade. It was a long flight and a quick dash from the airport thanks to the Garda motorcycle corps but we made it in time to be the only Irish marching band in the Dublin parade.

Happy 21st Birthday Clondalkin Youth Band!

CYB celebrates 21 years of music in the Clondalkin community with a special mass on the 23rd of November (St. Cecilia's day, patron saint of music) and a celebration afterwards in City West Hotel. As part of the celebrations, members of the original band were invited along with past and present committee members and sponsors and everybody recieved a commemerative pen and a CYB pin. A wonderful night was had by all especially old and current band members meeting up for the first time in years. Some visitors even travelling from England for the occasion!
