Activities
The schoool makes every effort to encourage personal academic and spiritual development through a range of out-of-classroom activities.
Retreats:
Retreats and seminars with other schools are organised by the religious Education department.
St Vincent de Paul:
The St. Vincent de Paul Christmas Appeal, organised by the Transition Year and involving the entire school, makes pupils more aware of the needs of others. Support for other charities is also encouraged.
Team Theatre:
An educational drama group visits the school every year to present a play dealing with a current social issue. This is followed by a workshop on the issue involved.
Drama/Music:
Drama and music clubs are organised by senior pupils.
The School Choir: has 50 – 60 members and performs regularly at school functions and competitions. Entry is open to all students by audition.
Art Competitions: are regular features of Art classes.
Art & Craft: work produced is frequently displayed throughout the school.
