We are the 53 chapter of  a rapidly growing national organization. We currently have over 120 members from four counties on Northeastern Pennsylvania.     </div> <div>   </div> <DIV ALIGN="LEFT"></DIV> <div> <IMG SRC="0b173320.jpg" border=0 width="371" height="50" ALIGN="BOTTOM" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0"></div> <div> <I>Purpose</I></div> <bR> <div> The purpose of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Emerald Society is to:</div> <bR> <div>      1.   To develop a spirit of fraternalism and fellowship among its members</div> <bR> <div>      2.   To encourage active participation in community activities</div> <bR> <div>      3.   To encourage and enhance professionalism within the public safety professions</div> <bR> <div>      4.   To instill and preserve in its members the heritage of their Irish culture</div> <bR> <div>      5.   To recognize and promote the accomplishments and contributions of our ancestors</div> <div>             and fellow Irish-Americans</div> <bR> <div>      6.   To promote a positive sentiment towards public safety</div> <bR> <div>      7.   To provide family oriented social cultural atmosphere within the public safety community</div> <bR> <div>      8.   To communicate and educate the public of the virtues and accomplishments of public safety</div> <bR> <div>      9.   To aid and assist worthy and needy members</div> <bR> <div>    10.   To aid active member families in the event of a line of duty death.  </div> <bR> <DIV ALIGN="LEFT"></DIV> <div> <IMG SRC="0b173320.jpg" border=0 width="371" height="50" ALIGN="BOTTOM" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0"></div> <bR> </td> </tr></table></body>
