The highlands... near Braemar. This is probably the picture postcard image most Americans have of Scotland... and it really is like that.
For those of you who think making this site is easy, this photograph involved taking a 5 hour detour through the highlands. And if you think it looks sunny, it must be because of my skill in capturing an atmosphere, because I can assure you, it was sooooo cold up there.
Not a lot of people know that prides of wild lions roam the streets of Glasgow. You have to watch out at night, 'cause they'll get you. Fortunately these ones look like they've got someone else in their sights. Maybe he or she's got a little more meat on them than I have.
Of course, this was taken at a local safari park, but, it makes you wonder... who would live next door to the place.
Pride of Europe
The trophy in the picture is of the European Cup, Europe's premier football trophy. The list of winners reads like who's who of footballing history, Barcelona, Real Madrid, AC Milan, Inter Milan, Liverpool, and of course, Glasgow Celtic. The proudest day in our history cam on the 25th of May, 1967, and we will never let anybody forget it.
