Stunning site with the view of Dunmore House, even with the restrictions
due to foot + mouth disease.
Don't miss out a visit to Kilberry Castle
(though not open to the public), a marvellous site, there are also anciend
slabs (as in Saddell Abbey and Kilmartin). Visit Saddell
Castle (nice setting at the beach) and Glenbarr
Abbey in Kintyre (a warm welcome).
Here there are owls, bats, at least one buzzard. The playing
ground is perfect for children. But beware of going to Dunmore House at
night! There is a banshee flying about! (no joke!)
