"The Bell" Many of us only remember this bell as being located at the Football Stadium. Remember how it was rung every time Saint Clair had a victory? It was once in the tower of the Nichols Street School. What later became part of the playground for the Carroll Stret School. The school was torn down by my Uncle Norman and when he did he salvaged the bell. For many years the bell was located on his front lawn. In the mid-1960's he donated the bell to the school and they mounted it in the stadium. |
