To the best of my knowledge, all the children of William CONAWAY were
born in Arkansas or Indian Territory (Oklahoma). From what I have been
able to find, William was born in Kentucky then his family seems to have migrated to Alabama, then on to Arkansas. Probable relatives (brothers) of William are Ashley CONAWAY b.1839 Al, and John CONAWAY b. 1941 AR. All three of these men were next-door neighbors in the area of Dayton, Sebastian Co., Arkansas ca 1860-1870.
