This is the parallel port Version.
It has 16 keys and a standard HD44780 4*20 alphanumeric
LCD. LCD and keys are directly connected to the PC's printer port and to a +5V supply, which can be 'borrowed' from a disk drive cable or from the PC's keyboard socket.
No additional parts are needed
