Captain Planet Captain Planet1Hate1Hate1Hate1Hate

He may be a popular cartoon hero with the kiddie, but he's a wolf in blue tights to us. The show based around the Captain and his pollution fighting gang is the problem. The sub-Speed Racer animation has much to be desired, but the real problem is the blatant and ceaseless liberal left wing propaganda that the viewer is subjected to. Few cartoons have deep and meaningful messages interlaced among the rocket powered roller skates and character shaped impact craters, but at least the theme made sense. Wylie Coyote wanted to eat the Road Runner and Elmer Fudd hunted the wascaly wabbit because they were hungry. Speed racers enemies invariably wanted to knock him out of the race. There was that little scrap of logic that made the plot work. Captain Planet doesn't need that least iota of sense because it isn't about entertainment, it's about indocternation on a level that Goebbels and Tokyo Rose would have respected. The villans he fights are just out to destroy the ozone for the hell of it. There is no gain in it for them, leaving the only option that they are just compulsive polluters. As far as we're concerned the real pollution is happening between the viewers ears.
