She put on a combination of many different lipstick colours in order to make her lips look full.
She underwent two minor corrective plastic surgeries (nose-chin). She also had her upper front teeth fixed.
After Marilyn died, her hairdresser was called to fix Marilyn's hair for the funeral, but he collapsed in the mortuary. They had to use a wig instead.
Snyder (Marilyn's make-up man) used to say that Marilyn had many make-up secrets, which not even a professional make up artist knows.
Marilyn used to brush her teeth with baking soda every day in order to whiten them.
Marilyn loved cooking. She had even bought a receipe book called "The joy of cooking". Her comments about it: "I started from scratch. In fact, from below scratch. I bought a book called "The Joy of Cooking". Maybe it's joyous, but I notice that some people seem to find it quite tedious. My favourite cooking is baking; very good at baking bread".
