Despite the fact that he was married and had 4 children, Hyde and Marilyn started a love affair. When his wife found out about them, she asked for a divorce.Hyde helped Marilyn get parts in two of the best films of all time: "The Asphalt Jungle" and "All About Eve". Hyde also paid for Marilyn's 2 plastic surgeries. Hyde asked Marilyn to marry him but she turned him down claiming that however much she cared for him and loved him, she wasn't in love with him.
