The film is basically a new take on the old childrens books of the same name. Set in a wood, it follows the exploits of Mr Toad (Terry Jones) as he gets up to all kinds of mischief with his friends Ratty (Eric Idle), Mole (Steve Coogan) and Badger (Nicol Williamson). It's all good fun, but it unfortunately didn't get the success that it deserved.
