My name is Ashur Dunn and I want to share with you some of my beliefs. Many people believe in a supreme being. I believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in his Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost. We are all Spirit sons and daughters of our Father in heaven. And all our Father in heaven wants is for us to have joy. So how do we have joy? Have you ever given anyone a present, or done something nice for someone and felt really happy inside? That is joy. A feeling that fills your soul. When we live righteously, you will have great happiness. And if we feel that happiness is good, then we know our Father in heaven loves us because he too wants us to have that same joy. A joy that is far greater than we can image.
The Lord has a plan for us. That plan was for us to come to earth and experiance opposition so that we could truly prove ourselves worthy to return to the presence of our Father in Heaven. This is a preparatory state. Did you think your life on Earth was a 100 year ride? Absolutely not. There is purpose to our lives here on earth. And understanding the plan of our Heavenly Father is essential for our progression.
I know that God lives, and he loves all of his children. And he wants us to progress in the ways of righteousness. Many times when we do bad things, we often have a bad feeling that comes a long with it. That assures us that what we have done is not pleasing to our soul. There is a soul that would destroy us, and works on us daily to try and slow our progression. Satan knows our weaknesses. We face this opposition as an opportunity to choose righteousness. However, Satan works from small sins to Large sins. He breaks us down so that we will do worse and worse until we are at the bottom and bound by his cunning ways. He would have us try and justify our sins as "ok things to do" when they are abominable in the sight of our Lord. Satan is a wicked Spirit who doesn't care for us at all and seeks to make us as unhappy as he is.
That is why we need Church. Church helps to nurture our spirits through
the comforting presence of the Spirit of God. When we do good, we feel
good, and seek again to do good things. When we do bad, we feel bad, and
doing bad things will lead to us being cut off from the presence of our
loving Father in Heaven. Yes, though our Father loves us, he cannot look
upon sin with the least degree of allowance. No unclean thing may enter
into the Kingdom of God.
Brothers and sisters, we need to prepare for the secong coming of Jesus Christ. We must obey the commandments of our Father in Heaven. They will bring us protection, and joy. We must study the scriptures and we must pray always. We should build a personal relationship with out Father in Heaven through prayer. We should thank him for our many blessings, ask for strength in our shortcomings, and be sincere with a broken heart and contrite spirit. A broken Heart and contrite Spirit mean we should pray with sincereity, and be humble in our desires. The Lord will give us what we need when we need it. he knows when we are ready and it is the best time for us to progress. When we ask for things..we may not get the answers right off. It is the Fathers will that will be done. Have Faith in the Lord God, and he will provide.
Regardless how you feel at this moment, I love each and every person
on this earth. And at times it may be hard to love one another, but we
are to love our enemies. And many times our enemies can becoem our best
friends. I know there are many things to be revealed to us in these
latter days. And we must be worthy as a people. The Lords Gospel will move
continually. He never said it would be easy for us.....just worth it. I
say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
