Why Sizemore?

OK, here's the deal. My name is Kim and I have a stark raving mad passion for the theatre and theatrical performance. As a theatre major at a private college I see all kinds of acting. Sometimes good. Sometimes bad. Always intriguing. One day I was having a very depressing day and I wandered into the used video section at Target. While there I spotted a film entitled Heart and Souls. A friend had told me about it and described it as funny but sad. Depressed as I was, funny and sad all mixed together sounded perfect. I bought the video, without ever having seen it. At home, I got a huge bowl of ice cream and a warm cup of herbal tea and looked over the back of the box. I looked at the actors names. All were familiar. All but one. Tom Sizemore. I ignored that fact and put in the tape. Over the next hour and a half I danced from rolling over with laughter, to sobbing with tear filled eyes. It wasn't the worlds greatest movie, but it was perfect for me.
After watching this movie the first time, I put it away and forgot about it. Until I got depressed again. This time I watched the movie two times in a row. The second time, I noticed something new. Now, when you're in the theatre a lot, you tend to overanalyze peoples performances. So it was, that I found myself analyzing this actor, hitherto unknown to me (I love big words). He seemed to be rather typecast, but instead of playing up the stereotypes, he toned down his gruff character. Becoming one of the most lovable hoods I have ever seen and probably ever will.
Suddenly I was very curious about this actor called Sizemore. I went online and tried to probe into his world. I was shocked to learn that this was not the first time I had seen him. Impressed as I was by his repertoire I decided to share my newfound respect for this man with the rest of the world.
So here it is. He's a tough looking man with soft eyes and a gorgeous smile. And he has talent that few actors can boast to.
Is there a better package out there? I think not!
