Mission of Patriot Saints
As like-minded patriots (those who love freedom) and saints (those who love the
gospel) we are stirred in our conscience to help one another on a local level as well as to be involved in charitable projects of a larger scale. "Feed my sheep" does not just have spiritual implications. It also carries physical obligations. Rather than just saying we are against the socialist and anti-Christian New World Order, we need to be actively providing a viable alternative means, based on freedom, to take care of the poor among us, while strengthening ourselves in the Lord.
One of the things that has been weighing heavily on us is the need to foster
among like-minded 'patriot saints' (whether they call themselves that or not) a sense of commitment to help each other out and to share their believes on Christ. We all realize that commitment as part of the gospel/baptismal covenant, but we need to realize that it extends to the 'patriot' realm as well. There needs to be a sense of community and helping each other out on that level as well.
Where ever you live, there are sure to be others in your area who share your gospel & government ideals. The purpose of Patriot Saints as an organization, beyond standing for an idea or ideas, is to help facilitate the gathering together of like-minded people who share these values, and to likewise facilitate their working together on a temporal level as well to help ease each other's burdens.
The Local Patriot Saints Ideas:
To create a strong group of Christians of all denominations and churches and create a place where they may share their ideas and knowledge of the Bible. In order to create a strong local fellowship all Believers must be in one heart and mind (Acts 4:32-35), so that the strengths of a believers may be put to the best use of the Christian community in his or her area. In our view, there is two sides to a Christian: The "Patriot" will share their common belief in how Christians can make changes in the communities they live in, expanding God's Word and Kingdom on Earth through actions and the "Saint" will share their common believe in God and Jesus Christ. Helping each other in our lives strengthen the way Christians live their lives, is our mission.
We get together in convenient times to our members and have activities and at every meeting we pray and ask God to help us make decisions and share ideas that glorify His name on Earth and in Heaven.
Acts 5: Talks about how the Lord has enabled His servants to speak His word boldly. We must speak out and share our beliefs with other Christians. "Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak Your word with great boldness".
Remember that faith without deeds is useless and deeds without faith is dead as well (James 2:26). Having a strong spiritual life and no expression of the gifts God has entrusted us is like ignoring the mission of expanding and proclaiming God's Kingdom. We need to do God's Work on Earth as well!
