The Wedding!!

Well, Steve and I did it!! We went to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on February 17th and stayed til February 25th. Thanks to El Nino the weather was perfect.....I think I only wore my winter coat twice during the whole time we were there. On Saturday, February 21st at 11:15 we were married at the Muttart Conservatory in the "rain forest" pavillion. There we stood amongst our friends and some family and vowed to each other our love.

The ceremony went off great except for a few minor hitches.....The bird that decided to speak it's mind during each and every important moment....Good ole Julie deciding to be the one to clear her throat "accidentally" during the asking of who might object to this joining....

We hope that everyone enjoyed themselves as much as Steve and I did and that they will also carry the special memories of a beautiful ceremony and the joining of not just two lives, but many as we all met for the first time. I can speak for myself when I say that this trip was one of the most important things that I have ever done in my life and that meeting all the TRUE Edmontonians in the real has forever changed my life! We are not only cute little juvenile nicknames on a computer screen, but dear friends who will last for many years to come.

Following are just a few of the pictures that our good friend Darren took with his digital camera...Thanks Darren!! :)

Please be patient...I am currently in the process of uploading the whole pictures for a better view!

The kiss that sealed the deal. I hope he really knows what he is in for. Steve agreeing to be my LAWFULLY wedded husband. Russ and Carol....the newest newlyweds...March 21st!
Roni and Dave at a table for two. Russ being my 'dad' and giving me away. Me, the 'blushing' bride...before the Buds.
Cutting of the cake....before I was snorting icing! The best picture of Ma yet!! The Butski's....new and old!!! :) Did I say OLD?? I meant Classical..yeah that's it...classical.
Carol and Steve.... ummmmmm.....agreeing to have their picture taken. (maybe I need to say Steve is agreeable). Ken (sober?) with his girlfriend Carrie...he might look innocent, but don't be fooled!!! <EG> Something tells me that Ken started that d*mn ding-dinging again!!!

Once again, our thanks go out to all that made this a memorable occasion! We love you all dearly!!
