Happy 80s New Wave MIDIs |

Here is a collection of MIDI files for those with, shall we say, acquired tastes. (Actually, these are pretty much the songs that made up my collection of 45s!) Ok, so they're not ALL from the 80's, and they're not all new wave, but they're some of my favorites or just really good sounding MIDI files, and I hope you will get some enjoyment out of them too. I tried to include only superior quality MIDIs, and I have edited some of them myself when I thought it necessary. Those of you with low-end sound cards may not get the whole effect, so if they sound really strange on your computer please don't email me and tell me they're crappy. If you know of or have any songs from this era that you think would make a good addition to this page, feel free to attach them to an email and send them to me. I have only included MIDIs that I feel are outstanding, and only songs that I myself *like*. This is by no means a comprehensive list (don't get me started, or things could get ridiculous!) :-)
I have
included the artists, the size of the files and the length of the
songs for your convenience, and have purposely NOT zipped the
files so you can play them and decide if you like them before you
download. Check back often for updates, space permitting! Recent
additions are marked NEW! for obvious reasons
