As I sit and wonder what you are doing..
My mind drifts back to a time when ...
there was no you and I.
To a time when there was just you and just me.
I begin to think back on how sad I felt
Knowing not what my future held
Or if I would always live in unhappiness..
But now I think of the future with bright eyes..
And a joyful heart.
Because I know you are a part of it..
And I will never again feel alone or be unhappy.
These thoughts show great expression on my face..
My eyes shine bright and my face glows.
My lips show a smile that
has not been seen for some time now.
I let out a slight sigh with my smile as I allow
myself to whisper your name.
All this happiness and joy is because of you.
For these things you give me,
I in return offer you love,
And I am thankful for the blessing of meeting you.
