8/13/00: What a week! Austin and Allan both cut through 2 molars, we made some progress on finishing our basement, Stacie and Wade both were called to be in the Nursery at church, and we are continuing to download .MP3's like crazy before they are outlawed.
Our basement project is comming along well. It will consist of a full home theater (including a projection TV), a laundry room, and a kitchenette/bar area. We are doing the basement in two sections, and have almost completely framed in 1 of the sections. The electrical and misc wiring are next.
Stacie and Wade spent their first day in the Nursery today. Stacie is a born natural when dealing with children, while Wade has been reminded of a weakness and is determined to do his best at it. There are almost 50 children enrolled in nursery but only about 20 or so actually show up. We will be working with 2 other couples in the nursery.
Please see our downloads page for a complete list of songs we have downloaded. Please let us know if you want any of these songs copied onto a CD and mailed to you.
7/24 - 7/30: Austin and Allan continue their "teething" spree, though not a single tooth has popped through. It is our understanding that before a tooth comes through, it may move around under the gums and cause irritation. This has also created a somewhat demanding week for Stacie, taking care of two needy and clingy boys. Stacie has handled it very well, as it is really nothing too new to her. We're sure all of you have heard of the MP3 controversy. After spending some time researching our available resources, we have joined in with the other 20 million Napster users in downloading any song we want. We decided to do this to get a copy of all those "forgotten" 80's songs in case it becomes illegal to do so in the future. We have currently downloaded 17 songs, all of CD quality. If any of you have any special requests, please email them to us. Stacie and Wade have begun a Tae-Bo workout program. We decided it was time for us to get into shape! 1/2 hour each day should be a good start. Things are going well for Wade at work, as many new things are implemented and his departments processing numbers are the best seen by ADT in years! Saturday was spent running errands (as usual) and spending quality time as a family. Next week's prediction: Something a little less hectic!
