Shinji was elected by its own father; Gendo (see <A HREF="id12.htm" TARGET="_top" TITLE="Eva characters"><U>Characters page</U></A>) to control EVA unit 01. Sinds Shinji didn't want to Gendo called Rei to pilot it while she's badly injured. When Shinji saw Rei's wounds he reconsidered and piloted EVA 01.</div> <bR> <div> <B>Episode 2: The Beast</B></div> <div> Then suddently Shinji woke up in a hospital. He didn't knew what happened and headed for NERV HQ. He now lives with Misato and she has his gardian. When Shinji wanted to sleep he has a flash-back about that fight... He stood infront of the vicious monster: Sachiel. While Shinji had no experience EVA 01 tripped over its own feet by Shinji's nervous thoughts. Sachiel was pounding EVA 01 to pieces as it shoots a beam right through its head. Then... it happened. While Shinji was unconscious EVA 01 went beserk. It started killing the Angel, but when it was going to die, it self destruct and it looks like EVA 01 has been destroyed as well but isn't.</div> <bR> <div> <B>Episode 3: A transefer</B></div> <div> To improve Shinji's battle skills, Ritsuko placed Shinji into a simulator in NERV HQ. At school there aren't alot students left, the main reason was because they flet for the Angels. Toji's little sister ended up in the hospital while Shinji had his first experience with EVA 01. Right after school Toji punched Shinji right in the face to take, lets say 'revenge' on him. later that day there was a sign of an A.T. field, meaning that there was an Angel close by; Angel #4: Shamshel. This is the second time Shinji has a real battle with an Angel instead of a simulator. While in battle, EVA 01's power line got cut off by Shamshel's laser tentakles and throws EVA 01 high in the sky and lands right next to 2 of Shinji's classmates; Toji and Kensuke while they should have been underground to shelter, letting them hide in the Plug-in of the EVA. While Shinji had a chance to escape he disobayed orders and attacked Shamshel head-on, succeding by destroying its power core.</div> <bR> <div> <B>Episode 4:</B><B> </B><B>The Hedgehog's Dilemma</B></div> <div> Shinji has finaly desided to run away from every thing; his problems, Misato, his father, Rei, NERV, EVA and every thing else. He stayed in a train the whole day long, listening to his tape. The next day he didn't go home, to Misato's place. Later the day he encountered Kensuke, his classmate, while wearing military clothes. Shinji desided to Camp outside with Kensuke. The next day it was all foggy and Shinji and Kensuke got surrounded by 5 NERV intelligence agents and got brought back to NERV HQ, as he resigned later that day. Shinji and some NERV intelligence agents escorted him to a train station to see he leaves safely (or was it to make sure??). While Misato drove to the station (In Misato style: very dangerous) and the train departured. Then she saw that Shinji is still there while he sayed some words: "I'm... I'm home..."</div> <bR> <div> <B>Episode 5: Rei 1</B></div> <div> 22 days has past sinds Shinji's first battle. They tried to test out EVA 00 again while Rei was in it. At first sight it went all right, but when it has reached the border line it took over itself, while forcing Rei out of it. When EVA 00 stopped moving Shinji's father, Gendo Ikari, tried to rescue Rei from the overheated Entry-plug with his bare hands. While NERV personel (like Ritsuko) investigated what the malfunction was of EVA 00, Shinji saw his fathers hands where heavly burned. Later that day, while Shinji was in EVA 01, he saw Rei and his father talking with each other and start thinking that he only cares for Rei... And again, another A.T. field detection, this is the 5th Angel; Ramiel. It tries to penetrade right through the ground, through NERV's core. By sending EVA 01 out first with Shinji in it was a bad idea, because when Shinji was out, it got attacked by its beam.</div> <bR> <div> <B>Episode 6: Rei 2</B></div> <div> Ramiel has fired a beam at Shinji while it got launched and it immediately got brought down to NERV HQ, bringing Shinji to intensive care. Misato has some UN forces to attack and try to stop Ramiel from advancing to NERV HQ. But it seems it was useless, even with the self-propelled mortar, it got bounced off by Ramiel's A.T. field and the truck got destroyed. After that Misato learned some thing about this Angel. So she came up with a plan by shooting Ramiel from a long distance with a new prototype self-propelled positron cannon. By its high power it should penetrade right through Ramiel's A.T. field, Ritsuko came up with a plan to build up a shield to protect the 'sniper' from Ramiel's beam that can last 15 seconds. A few hours later Shinji got better by a quiek recovery and started to rest for a short while. After the rest Shinji went into EVA 01 and took his position. But because of the rifles high power useage, whole japan will be blacked out of the power drain, so it will be all dark. First attempt: Shinji aimed at Ramiel and fired, but sinds Ramiel countered with its beam the shot got bounced off course and so is Ramiel's. Second attempt; Ramiel fires its beam again and with out protection, Shinji would be doomed. Suddenly Rei apeared with the shield Ritsuko designed, protecting Shinji for a while. Second attempt again; Shinji has to hurry or else the shield will give and Rei, aswell is Shinji, will be lost, Shinji fired and it was a direct hit, under the casuality of EVA 00. Shinji opened the over heated Entry-plug like his father but then with glubs, to free Rei from the half melted door.</div> <bR> <div> <B>Episode 7: The human creation</B></div> <div> Shinji has changed from a quiet and lonely boy, to a more happely boy thanks to Misato's good caring. Misato and Ritsuko has a meeting with alot of people of the whole world to the Jet-alone project. Jet-Alone is a new type robot that doesn't need a pilot. While testing it out the technicians lost controle over Jet-Alone and ran controless traight through the building, to Tokyo-3. If it gets over heated its nuclear engine will explode and will kill thousands of people. Then Misato took over and dispached EVA 01 to stop Jet-Alone. By planning it how to stop Jet-Alone, Misato decided to get into Jet-Alone's core and stop it from inside. When EVA 01 stopped Jet-Alone, Misato had a chance to get inside and disable the core. When she wanted to enter the password to stop Jet-Alone it was denieded "It was planned all along," Misato sayed. Then she used brawn instead of brains and tried to force the engine to stop. It seems that Jet-Alone wanted to self-destruct and Misato and EVA 01 will be lost. But then the engine suddenly stopped by its self and Jet-Alone cooled off. Misato repeats: "It was planned all along..."</div> <bR> <div> <B>Episode 8: Asuka strikes!</B></div> <div> Misato was supposed to meat with a German fleet some where in the sea to over see its safe arival of EVA 02, and its new pilot: Asuka... She took Shinji, Toji and Kensuke with her along the ride. Shinji was ment to be the back-up pilot. While in captains room Misato encountered Kaji, an old flame of her, but now hates him a bit unlikely like Asuka, who likes Kaji alot. When lunching Kaji asked a few questions and some of them embarrassed Misato. A bit later the 6th Angel apeared: Gaghiel... Alot of the escored was crushed by Gaghiel by just running through them. Then Asuka and Shinji got into EVA 02 and started to fight Gaghiel on the boats but got forced down, into the water. EVA's aren't ment to fight under water and EVA 02 couldn't move a bit and it got gobled up by Gaghiel (for the half) Then Misato got another plan, it was a bit kamikazi like but it was worth a try. 2 of the escored ships where ordered to sink towards EVA 02 and Gaghiel. EVA 02 opened its mouth and the ships crashed in, while it got remote controlled fired inside the Angel.</div> <bR> <div> <B>Episode 9: Both of you, dance like you want to win</B></div> <div> Like every time when Asuka has to come out to destroy and Angel. She had to elliminate the Angel; Isfrael with Shinji's help. While Shinji was covering Asuka, she went to attack the Angel head on and succeeded by splitting it apart. unluckely they didn't know that this Angel could seperate its self when it got splitted. EVA 01 and 02 got punched into the ground by the Angel duo. While Isfrael was walking in the sea, the UN dropped a N2 bomb on it, forcing it to heal it self first before moving again. They got 6 days untill it regenerates itself fully. Sinds Asuka wasn't such a good team player, she had to coöperate with Shinji and beat Isfrael. Those 2 spended time with each other (even thoughts it was more arguing) Then... the big day arived. They fought Isfrael like they where dancing WITHOUT any power support, so they only had a bit over 1 minute to destroy Ifrael.</div> <bR> <div> <B>Episode 10: Magma Diver</B></div> <div> NERV detected an Angel in the vulcano: Saldaphon... Gendo sended Asuka to capture and sieze it. On first sight it was going ok. But when Asuka has captured the egg it began to hadge and freed it self. Saldaphon began to attack Asuka. And sinds they equipped EVA 02 with D-type equipment, it has no defence exept for its claws. Shinji (EVA 01) throwed his knife down and Asuka catched it. While Saldaphon was knibling on EVA 02, Asuka attacked it on its back and was able to kill it.</div> <bR> <div> <B>Episode 11: The day Tokyo-3 stood still</B></div> <div> Maya and Ritsuko where out at the cleaners, getting their clothes. After they got back at NERV HQ, Shinji and the others where coming back to. Mean while: when Ritsuko pushed a minor button, all power of Tokyo-3 and the Geofront got cut off. Normaly does NERV HQ have 3 back-up generators, just incase things like this happen, but they wheren't responding. And while the power got cut off, Kaji and Misato got stuck in an elivator. When Shinji, Asuka and Rei got back to the entrance; the door wouldn't open because there was no power at all (Asuka rudely pushed Rei aside when she wanted to test her ID card). Trapped out side of NERV, they desided to go through the emergancy exit (and poor Shinji had to open the hand powered and heavy door). And unfortunatly, Asuka was leading the group, if it wasn't for Rei, they got lost. When they reached a crossing, Asuka decided to go right and the road that leads up. After Asuka kicked the door open they encountered the ninth Angel: Matarael. The gang headed back and got to a sealed door and went to crouch through the cooling sytem. Mean while Gendo became aware that there was an Angel coming and prepaired the EVA's by hand. And when gang arived, the EVA's where ready to launch. But sinds there was no power, they had to run on battery packs. A few minutes later, the EVA's climbed up. But then Matarael letted dangerous acid down where the EVA's where climbing. EVA 02 fell and crashed down on the other EVA's. They only had about 3 minutes left before their power ran out. Then Asuka came up with a plan and got started right away: Asuka was the Cover for the acid. Rei should go down and pick up the gun (forgot to tell you guys that EVA 01 was carrying it) and throw it up to Shinji to shoot right through Matarael's eye and power core.</div> <bR> <div> <B>Episode 12: She sayed: Don't make other suffer for your personal hatred</B></div> <div> Misato got a flash back about the second impact. She was with the scientist that tried to strink Adam back to size but failed. All wounded, her father brought here to a entry-plug to safe her and sacrificed him self. Mean while Shinji brought his friends: Toji and Kensuke to shelter from the rain (and Asuka thought they where going to look at her get dressed). When they saw Misato, Kensuke has notisted that she got promoted to temporarily command while Gendo was away. Later that day, Kensuke orginized a party at Misato's apartment. Even thought Misato wasn't to happy with the promotion, she just pretended she did. The next day they've discovered an Angel in space: Sahaqiel. Sahaqiel was practicing by releasing small parts of its self on Earth; the destruction power was devastating. Misato came up with the plan to have the EVA's to hold up Sahaqiel right before it strikes Earth and cause the third impact. If they didn't succeed they'll all die, including the EVA's. They all got prepaired and got into position. When Sahaqiel was close to Earth, the EVA's ran like the wind to the location where Sahaqiel would land and explode. When EVA 00 and 02 wouldn't be in time, Shinji suddenly speeded up and ran faster then the other 2. Shinji holded up Sahaqiel all by him self till Rei and Asuka came with EVA 00 and 02. They all holded up Sahaqiel and when they've got a chance, Asuka ripped open the A.T. field and destroyed the power core.</div> <bR> <div> <B>Episode 13: Lilliputian hitcher</B></div> <div> The NERV staff where testing how Shinji, Asuka and Rei would react if they where under water. Then suddenly they heard a noise and ignored it. A little while after that the water suddenly got a bit radio-active. Gendo decided to launch the EVA's and the entry-plugs with Shinji, Asuka and Rei in it. They've depached a few pods and shotted at the same point. Then it apeared, an A.T. field: Ireul. They evacuated the stations and closed every entrance that leads towards it. When the glass gave, Ireul got into the network and started to take over the MAGI system that Ritsuko's mother designed. Because it knew that if the MAGI system was gone, the EVA's couldn't do any thing. Then they tried to set up the Anti-Virus program but didn't work, after that they tried to shut down the network, it didn't work. After all that they've shutted down the power for the network and safed the last MAGI part: Casper. Ritsuko went into the system of Casper and was plugging in a laptop that contains a special Anti-Virus program.</div> <bR> <div> <B>Episode 14: Weaving a story</B></div> <div> <I>The half of this episode tells what happened the last 13 episodes.</I></div> <div> Rei and Shinji changed from EVA's, only Asuka didn't want to. While Shinji was in EVA 00 he didn't fell any differents, only the same bloody smell. But then he felt some thing and got loaded with memories... Rei's memories... EVA 00 went beserk and started to hit the window where Rei, Ritsuko, Misato and the others where.</div> <bR> <div> <B>Episode 15: </B><B>Those women longed for the touch of others' lips, and thus invited their kisses. </B></div> <div> (sorry guys, this one takes a biiiiiiiiiiiiit longer<IMG SRC="00e0f0f0.gif" border=0 width="15" height="15" ALIGN="BOTTOM" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">)</div> <bR> <div> <B>Episode 16: </B><B>Splitting of the Breast </B></div> <div> And again, a few days later. It was time to check on their experience. Althought Asuka had (don't remember how much exactly) points, Shinji has beated her with just a few more. Later on, they encountered another Angel: Lilliel... All EVA's where dispatched to encounter the... overgrown marble (like my cousin could call it) EVA00 with a rifle, EVA 01 with an handgun and EVA 02 with a battle axe. Shinji started by attacking and BIG mistake. Because they didn't study (again) what Lilliel can and does, Lilliel creates some kind of quiek-snad and Shinji, with EVA 01, got sucked into it. Rei and Asuka got away, but a part of Tokyo-3 went down with Shinji. After they pulled back their powerline it broke and every body thought Shinji died inside of EVA 01. Every body was a bit sad because of the loss exept for Asuka a little and his father. At dawn, they where still monitiring Lilliel. They planned to kill the Angel with N2 bombs with bombers. Suddenly... it happened again... EVA 01 went beserk and cutted Lilliel from inside apart.
