Virgin Trains Class 220 DEMU

DORSET VOYAGER.

The unveiling and dedication ran to time, but the proceedings extended due to the surprise presentation of two Dorset Voyager nameplates and a special presentation of a full size replica nameplate from the West Country Class locomotive named Swanage. The newly named DORSET VOYAGER left Swanage on her first run to Norden 17 minutes late, but after so many years of hard work to reinstate the Swanage branch line, I don't think anyone would complain about waiting a few more minutes on such a special occasion. :-)
