Exterior view of Wareham signalbox from level crossing. This is Wareham's second signalbox, the first was located at the West end of the station and was replaced by this new box at the East end of the station in 1928. The level crossing used to carry the main road but is now only used as a pedestrian foot crossing, the road is now carried over the railway by a bridge to the East of the station, part of which can be seen to the right of the box.
