This image illustrates some of the challenges that were faced in this project. You would never be able to tell by this shot but the flare is really just a transparency map on a flat plane. The flare needed to be done this way because of the ride was designed. Its a Circle Vison ride. Which means there are seven screens all around the audiences which meant there had to be seven cameras for every Lightwave scene.
