To have sufficient intellectual preparation in the classic texts of the Book of Changes and to understand the hexagrams, wings, and treatises thoroughly.
To have attained sufficient spiritual attainment and insight.
To respect the privacy of the person seeking assistance and never divulge private information.
Not to ever knowingly use divination for any illegal or immoral purpose and eschew displays of I Ching divination as entertainment and amusement.
